This page is set up so people can swap places they think are the best spots to propose marriage. I get quite a few requests about where to go. My favorite spot (not that it will ever happen again) would be the steps of the Trocadero, at night after the Eiffel and surrounding fountains are lit up.

Another suggestion by a reader is on the steps at Sacre Coeur. Only caveat here is that you may not have much privacy. This is a popular hang out spot for tourists.

Another suggestion by a reader was any bridge in Paris. I think that's a bit far fetched but a couple of nice bridges would be either the one near Notre Dame or the one in between the Eiffel Tower and Trocadero.
